It is the tradition of ESPGHAN to hold a GI School every two years. After the last event in Cascais, Portugal, we invite Young Investigators and Trainees to join us for another exciting School in beautiful Florence Italy, October 26-29, 2016.
The main topics will cover IBD, Motility disorders, Malabsorption syndromes and Allergic diseases with GI expression.


Local Organiser and Faculty
The Course will be coordinated by Paolo Lionetti (Florence), Nikhil Tappar (London) and Jorge Amil Dias (Porto). Other faculty members will be  Alexandra Papadopoulos (Athens), Frederic Gottrand (Lille),Marc Benninga (Amsterdam).

Application
Candidates will be selected upon application, with a supporting letter from an ESPGHAN member and an abstract that may be selected for presentation during the course (this is not a formal scientific meeting therefore abstracts may have been submitted previously to a public meeting).


General Information
The cost of the course will be a Registration fee of 100€ to assure responsible application, to be paid upon selection of the candidates. Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to 300€. Costs will be met by ESPGHAN using an Education Grant. Registration fee includes: Attendance to scientific sessions, meeting material, attendance certificate, accommodation for 3 nights, lunches, coffee-breaks and dinners, and tour in Florence.


Application Deadline
Deadline for applicaitons will be September 15, 2016. Notification of acceptance will be done within 2 weeks after that. There are limited places and Trainee members will have priority in the selection process.
