General Information

The ESPGHAN IBD Porto Group and the Local Organizing Committee are delighted to announce the 6th Paediatric IBD Masterclass to take place in Bristol, United Kingdom from 26-28 November 2020.

The goals are to review important aspects of diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents. This ESPGHAN Masterclass is for practicing pediatric gastroenterologists who wish to improve their clinical skills in managing paediatric IBD. Trainees could be accepted based on availability. Preference will be given to ESPGHAN members.

The ESPGHAN Paediatric IBD Porto Group is a group of paediatric IBD experts from ESPGHAN whose goals are to generate collaborative international research and to provide a leadership role concerning current diagnosis and management of IBD in children.

Application (to open March 2020)

Applicants need to submit a current CV and motiviation letter detailing why they think they should be selected. The number of applicants is limited and delegates will be selected by the organizers after the application deadline.

ESPGHAN will cover the following for international delegates:

- up to 2 nights accommodation in a pre-arranged hotel

- pre-arranged dinners and socials

- catering throughout the course

- congress material

Trainees and delegates from low-resource countries will further be granted travel refund up to EUR 270. If you are not a Young ESPGHAN Member, kindly provide a confirmation of your trainee status to upon application.

The registration fee needs to be paid upon receipt of the respective invoice.
