Endoscopy Summer School

General Information

This will be a fabulous opportunity to mix with and learn from some of the most experienced paediatric endoscopists from all over the world.
There will short interactive lectures intermixed with hands-on learning using mannequins and more sophisticated virtual training modalities with small group training. Importantly, there will be multiple opportunities for delegates to present their own video cases with lively discussion.
All aspects of diagnostic endoscopy will be covered including video capsule, EUS etc and standard therapeutic tecnhiques including GI bleeds, PEGs, stricture management etc along with exposure to more advanced therapeutic techniques.
For trainers we will add a break out group for a ‘Training the Trainers’ taster course. A day of live cases at Sheffield Children’s Hospital will combine with live cases from other centres in Europe and the North America. The last half day may include animal model endo-therapeutic training for the more advanced trainees (TBC).
The setting will be within a lovely country house hotel set in 15 acres of beautiful grounds where the delegates and Faculty will stay ensuring the development of a family environment and many friends for life will be made and remade, going on past experiences of the Endoscopy Summer Schools. 

The course language is English.
