Mentorship Programme

General Information

The ESPGHAN Mentorship Programme began in 2017 with the aim to create a forum for Young ESPGHAN members to meet and receive pastoral support from more senior ESPGHAN members. This year we are changing the format to deliver a virtual programme so that we can reach out to as many of you as possible!

What can you expect?

  • We will hold a half day, online workshop on 18th of May 2022 (AM). In this workshop you will learn and practice good (as well as bad) mentoring styles. You will be encouraged to practice what you have learnt in your professional life.
  • We will arrange a face-to-face meeting with your mentor at the ESPGHAN Annual Meeting in Copenhagen on 23rd of June 2022. An informal contract between the mentor and mentee will be signed.
  • We will follow up and prompt you to arrange three, virtual meetings with your mentor after Copenhagen. We will help you identify topics that you may wish to explore with your mentor. Please note that the attendance of the online workshop and the Annual Meeting on 23rd of June is mandatory to enter the programme.
