Parenteral Nutrition Masterclass

LINZ, AUSTRIA
MARCH 4 - 6, 2024

General Information

General Information

Over the course of a 3-day, 2-night stay, our focus will be on addressing the various challenges associated with parenteral nutrition in the pediatric patient population.
Our comprehensive agenda will cover a wide array of topics, including macro- and micronutrient intake, the merits and drawbacks of personalized versus standardized parenteral nutrition approaches, and the application of parenteral nutrition in patients with special needs.

Additionally, we will provide hands-on training sessions for the insertion of venous lines in skill stations. Throughout the event, we have allocated time for in-depth discussions on the challenges related to parenteral nutrition. These will take place in workshops and round table discussions, featuring panels of experts in the field.
Our primary objective is to bring together professionals from different specialties who are involved in the care of children requiring parenteral support and nutrition. This diverse group includes neonatologists, pediatric intensivists, gastroenterologists, pediatricians, dietitians, and nurses. By doing so, we aim to foster an environment where experiences and best practices can be openly shared and ultimately benefit the well-being of our pediatric patients.

The course language is English.

This course is part of the ESPGHAN Education Partner Programme.
