PURPOSE AND SCOPE
ESPGHAN is committed to supporting research efforts of its members into all aspects of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. As a society we aim to further our understanding of health and disease within the remit of ESPGHAN ultimately improving the life of children. ESPGHAN members are leaders in their fields many of which are research active. Importantly, supporting basic and translational research within ESPGHAN and encouraging young investigators to develop a research interest are key strategic pillars that the future of ESPGHAN will be built on.
The Research Committee in close collaboration with Council have revised the ESPGHAN research grant scheme, which aims at supporting basic, translational and clinical research in all areas of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
We particularly encourage young investigators to apply for these unique funding opportunities.
