General Information

The 2026 ESPGHAN NITE Masterclass on Intestinal Failure Rehabilitation and Small Bowel Transplantation will take place in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a rich maritime and cultural heritage in south-east London/England.

The masterclass is aimed at clinicians, surgeons and allied health professionals working with children with type III intestinal failure managed medically and those who are being considered for or have undergone small bowel transplantation and young trainees and researchers aiming to pursue a career in the field.
This exiting two-day course will provide evidence-based advice on current state of the art management, give delegates the opportunity to present challenging cases, attend topic focused workshops and encourage international networking.

The course language is English.

This school is supported by the ESPGHAN Education Partner Programme.

ESPGHAN Member (any type): EUR 200.00
Non-Member General: EUR 250.00

During applicaiton you will be asked to submit a motivation letter and abstract. The submission fo an abstract is mandatory. Please adhere to the below guidelines.

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

Language: English

Abstract word count: maxium 400

Details of authors: presenters name to be included and underlined

Number of co-authors: no restriction

Who can present: no restriction; any of the co-authors can present but should be registered for the conference and have paid the registration fee. Presenters should have medical/allied health professional background

What can be submitted: research study or case study of child with complex intestinal failure pre or post intestinal transplantation

Presentation: oral and discussion (no poster)

Cost Coverage

ESPGHAN will cover the following for onsite delegates

  • up to 2 nights accommodation on September 16 and 17 (arranged by ESPGHAN)
  • Dinners on September 16 and 17 (arranged by ESPGHAN)
  • Meals on course days (arranged by ESPGHAN)
  • Course material

The participation fee is understood as a contribution to the overall organization of the course and can thus not be reduced for participants not requiring accommodation.
